| DUO MAXWELL VOICE ACTOR: Scott McNeill ALLEGIANCE: Colonies (Later) to his fellow Gundam pilots PRIMARY MOBILE SUIT: DEATHSCYTHE (Later) DEATHSCYTHE HELL 1ST APPEARANCE: GUNDAM WING: THE SHOOTING STAR SHE SAW DUO MAXWELL was raised on the L-2 Colony. When Operation Meteor was in the planning stages, he tried to blow up the gundam known as DEATHSCYTHE rather than let it be used for such mass destruction. PROFFESSOR G found him and convinced him not to destroy DEATHSCYTHE but to take it to Earth and fight Oz his own way. G even gave DUO his nickname of "The Great Destroyer." Upon reaching Earth, DUO hooked up with a group of junk dealers called the Sweeper Group and set up shop in a tanker out at sea. Not long after reaching Earth, DUO stumbled onto the WING GUNDAM. He tried to take it but was stopped by its owner HEERO YUY. HEERO saw DUO as an enemy, but when he was captured, DUO rescued him and took him to safety. the two eventually split up only to reunite for the mission that ended in the accidental death of FIELD MARSHALL NOVENTA. DUO joined the other pilots in heading back into space. He was separated from DEATHSCYTHE and was forced to watch its televised destruction. He infiltrated Oz and ended up befriending HILDE SCHBEIKER. HILDE turned on him when she found out his true identity but DUO was able to make her switch sides. He then found the 5 GUNDAM SCIENTISTS captives of Oz and agreed to let himself get caught in exchange for giving them time to build DEATHSCYTHE HELL. DUO was imprisoned alongside HEERO and WUFEI. DUO and WUFEI almost died at the hands of MAJOR TUBEROV but they escaped with help from LADY UNE. DUO recieved the DEATHSCYTHE HELL and went underground. He reunited with HILDE and sent up a buisness selling scrapped Mobile Suits. He was found by TRENT and made to pilot WING ZERO. He survived the ordeal and went back to HILDE. DUO soon met with QUATRE and the two then found NOINE, SALLY PO, and HOWARD. The group found the other Gundam pilots and continued their war against Oz, Romefeller, and eventually White Fang. During this time, DUO fought and destroyed the MOBILE DOLL versions of the VAYEATE and MERCURIUS. During the Christmas Eve battle between the Gundam's, White Fang, and TREIZE'S forces, DUO rescued the 5 SCIENTISTS. He then took part in destroying LIBRA. Following that, DUO retired to live the quiet life with HILDE. He went back into battle to team with HEERO and the others against DEKIM BARTON.
