CHARON was LEONA'S partner in the motorcycle patrol division in the Newport City Police. CHARON would tease LEONA about her love of vehicles. The two were best friends and even better partners. One of their more famous busts was when they chased down two crooks who were escaping in garbage truck.
A year or so after LEONA transferred to the Tank Police, CHARON went to investigate DYNIPON GIKEN. She ran into MUELLER who tried turn her into a cyborg slave. She escaped but MUELLER tracked her down to an abandoned parking garage where he choked her to death. LEONA was devastated by CHARON'S and resigned in order to track down her killer. She found MUELLER and was captured by him but she was saved by her Tank Police buddies.
CHARON'S death was avenged when MUELLER apparently shot himself and LEONA shot down a plane carrying COLDSMAN, MUELLER'S boss.
