| AYEKA VOICE ACTOR: Jennifer Darling OCCUPATION: Royal Princess of Jurai RACE: Juraian 1ST APPEARANCE: TENCHI MUYO: HERE COMES AYEKA! AYEKA is the oldest Princess of the planet Jurai. Several centuries ago, she was berothed to her half-brother YOSHO. He left to pursue the pirate RYOKO and never returned. She went after him taking with her only her sister SASAMI and the guardians AZAKA & KAMEDAKE. She fond RYOKO on Earth and took both her and TENCHI captive. She was shocked to see TENCHI holding YOSHO'S sword and even more surprised to learn his name since the sword was also called "TENCHI". Eventually the ship crashed and AYEKA and her sister ended up stranded on Earth. She later heard from TENCHI that YOSHO was his ancestor. She began to fall in love with TENCHI and was hoping he'd marry her. She then became RYOKO'S chief rival for his affections. A battle between AYEKA and RYOKO all but destroyed a hot springs. Soon after, AYEKA took part in the battle against KAGATO. During the conflict, she learned that YOSHO was in fact TENCHI'S grandfather. In the aftermath of the battle, she also learned that SASAMI had merged with TSUNAMI and that she'd look like the attractive woman TSUNAMI'S spirit looked like when it appears in front of others. The news left feeling like her sister would grow up to be another rival. AZUSA and MISAKI came to Earth. MISAKI smothered AYEKA with affection but AZUSA disapproved of TENCHI and told AYEKA she was marrying a noble named SEIRYU. AYEKA asked TENCHI to battle SEIRYU. The battle was ended by MIHOSHI'S arrival. AZUSA relented and he and MISAKI left the girls on Earth. Later AYEKA helped TENCHI fend off attack by the creature known as YUZAHA.
