| ANDROID 16 VOICE ACTOR: Jeremy Inman RACE: android FIGHTING SKILLS: incredible fighting ability programmed into him by Dr Gero 1ST APPEARENCE: DRAGONBALL Z: GOKU'S ASSASSIN (DECEASED) ANDROID 16 was created by DR GERO to be a living weapon which would be used to kill GOKU. 16 was kept in stasis along with ANDROIDS 17 & 18. GERO battled GOKU and his friends with ANDROID 19. The battle went against them and ANDROID 19 was destroyed. DR GERO retreated to his lab and turned on 17 & 18. The two betrayed GERO and killed him. They then took 16'S pod and left the lab. They then turned on 16 and started a trek towards GOKU'S house. Even though he was programmed to kill GOKU, 16 had a gentle soul and did not partake of the random destruction that 17 & 18 took part in. Their search for GOKU got interrupted by CELL. CELL absorbed 17 and attacked the remaining two. 16 fought CELL but was unable to stop him from absorbing 18. CELL also gave 16 a massive blow to the head that left a huge hole. 16 was taken by the heroes to DR BRIEFS. The good doctor repaired the damage CELL did to 16. ANDROID 16 then took part in the CELL GAMES. There he met GOKU face to face for the first time. He told him he renounced his prgramming to kill him. When the GAMES degenrated into a freestyle brawl, ANDROID 16 tried to attack CELL but was blown into pieces. His head landed near where HERCULE was hiding. The head still functioned and asked HERCULE to toss him near GOHAN. The World Champ complied. Once 16 was near GOHAN he told the young fighter to let go of his inhibitions and attack CELL with all his power. CELL then crushed the head, killing 16. Back to Main Page Back to table of contents |
