VISITORS AND FAMILY
Visitors will be allowed to hunt with a member for a fee of $20 per day. A visitor is a non-family member.

No visitor will be allowed to hunt on the opening DAY of general firearms hunting season

No visitors allowed during ARCHERY or BLACK POWDER season except the first week of archery and first week of black power.

A family member shall be considered a regular member in good standing.  Rules 1, 2 & 3 are not applicable for family members.  (It is the intention of this rule that CHILDREN of club members still in school/college, or out of town family members that occasionally visit are not subject to Rules 1-3.  It is not the intention that only one member of a family need paid dues.)

No visitors are allowed during the last three- (3) weeks of archery and the second week of black powder

Any visitor violating club rules, bylaws or Virginia State game regulations will not be allowed back to hunt with the club.  The first violation by a club member will be a $50 fine.  The second violation will be automatic dismissal from the hunting club.

GENERAL
Each member must attend regularly scheduled meetings and/or work parties.  The duties of a work party include, but are not limited to putting up posted signs, working/cleaning the club house, maintaining the club house property, building tree stands, installing gates, digging drainage ditches.  A $50 fine maybe assessed for excessive absenteeism.

All members must put in three workdays prior to hunting.  Any member that does not may be fined $50 per day.

Members must avoid driving on wet roads in a manner that causes excessive damage to these roads.  No member can drive on club roads or land for at least two days after a rain.

A fine of up to $50 maybe assessed for late payment of dues

No alcoholic beverages allowed until after the hunting is complete for the day.

No DRUGS allowed.

HUNTING
All members should make reasonable effort to meet, enter and leave a tract of land together.

On Saturdays and holidays, during the black powder season, general firearms season, and the first week of general firearms season all members must report to the clubhouse prior to hunting in order to SIGN IN to the tract of land that they will be hunting.  Members must return in the evening to sign out, or arrange with other members to sign out for you.  Failing to sign in or sign out at the clubhouse is a $50 fine or dismissal from the hunting club

All members entering a tract of land must sign in at the mailbox and write the number or location of the stand that you are going to hunt.  Members must state the date and time of entering and leaving the land.  Failing to sign in or sign out at the hunting land is a $50 fine or dismissal from the hunting club

From the first day of archery season until the last day of deer season, members may only enter the woods to hunt.  Activities such as moving tree stands, scouting or work parties will be limited to Sundays only during the deer hunting seasons.

Deer and turkey taken on club property must be recorded at the clubhouse the day of the kill.

No one is to shoot at flying turkeys at any time.  The first offense is $25, second offense is $50 and the third offense is dismissal from the hunting club.

ORGANIZED HUNTING
Organized drives with men or dogs must be scheduled at least one week in advance and the hunt location posted at the clubhouse.

There must be ten- (10) hunters or more for an organized drive with men or dogs.

You may NOT leave the stand you have been posted on until after the drive is complete, unless tracking game shot.

Leaving the stand you have been posted on is a $50 fine for the first offense; second offense is automatic dismissal

The person that kills a deer, member or visitor shall have first choice of meat.  The driver(s) shall have second choice of meat.  The rest of the meat will be divided by a drawing.  This rule applies only to organized drives with men or dogs.

When dogs are used, all members must make an effort to locate lost dogs at the end of the day?s hunt.

RULES FOR MEMBERS AND GUESTS IN THE CLUB HOUSE

No loaded firearms in the club house.  No firearms discharged on clubhouse property.

No hunting on clubhouse propery. 

Use the outside john whenever possible.

Any leftover food must be taken with you when you leave.

If you use this clubhouse, you MUST clean it, this includes taking trash with you when you leave.  NO grease or food will be put in the sink or toilet.

The clubhouse always needs trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies . . . .
This takes a group effort please support your club.

No deer carcasses will be left on clubhouse property.

No long distance calls will be made.

All appliances (except refrigerator) must be turned off when you leave.

Water valve below toilet must be shut off when you leave.

Please be courteous of other members staying at the clubhouse.

Any member drinking after 11:00pm will NOT hunt on club property the next day.

Any member who violates these rules may not be allowed further use of the clubhouse.
