| Since she was very young, Gwen was influenced a lot by the muppet show and the annie soundtrack. At 31 years old, she still shows that influence during her performances. Even on her downest days, she can work up a sweat and have a great show with her energy. Gwen grew up with her parents, brothers, Eric and Todd, and sister Jill in Orange County. Eric dragged Gwen into the band at a young age of 13. She was to join John Spence at the mic, but tragically soon after the band set up, John commited suicide. Now, Gwen writes the lyrics and sings for the band. |
| Gwen had a long-term relationship with band member Tony Kanal. They were madly in love and when Tony broke it off after 7 years, Gwen took it so hard she almost quit the band. Now Gwen is in another serious relationship with the band Bush's lead singer Gavin Rossdale, this has been going on for about 5 years now, and rumor has it, Gavin has proposed to her and she has gladly excepted. Whether or not this is true, it is about time..:) Gwen Stefani has influenced many girls and young women throughout the world, they copy her hair and clothes all over, and Gwen thinks it's funny because she feels like a big dork in what she wears. |
