| South Higgins Lake State Park June 2001 |
| These are the pics from our 1 year anniversary trip this year. We left Sheba at home, which was a good idea seeing that it was flying ants season or something. I do know that if you call the park you are going to you can ask about the bugs, they usually have something they can tell you. I always at least check at the ranger station on the fleas and ticks. Usually they have no problems. And they WILL tell you if they know about cases. Remember to do this if you or your family members are allergic to anything too. They have the statics of the areas available for that reason. |
| My friend Karrie lives just a couple miles down the road from the state park we were at. Here she is with her daughter. You can see how cool the lake looks from here. Most state parks have trees. But I have been warned.....Some newer ones DON'T. Again, a good reason to CALL AHEAD!!!!!!!!! |

| Here's the view from outside the camper door. We picked a nice spot, and have learned to park close to the restroom. It sucks having to trek to pee in the middle of the nite. And where are you suppose to put the flashlite while you go? |
