  • Selected in the VIII National Workshop on Science and Technology of Sensors based on Nano-Materials amongst a congress of scientists and researchers from across the nation. I was called upon to present a synopsis of the course of events in the workshop.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT

  • Major Project

    Design and coding of a feature-rich Online Leave Management System - a project proposed by the Infosys Technologies Ltd, Bangalore. It uses an ASP interface for the SQL database of the company. It incorporates features like Online Leave history, Online Leave Balance, Online Current Leave Status, Online Leave Policy, Online Calendar etc.

  • Developing Enterprise Web Applications Using ASP.NET Framework

    We implemented a standard solution for web applications to be used for various Enterprises like Banks, Airways, Bookstores etc. The project was coded using web technologies like XML, ASP, VB, .NET etc.

  • Study and Analysis of Vector Network Analyzers

    As Group Leader, I studied and analysed the in microwave radar communication. I wrote programs in MATLAB to calculate the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of some common types of objects (cylinder, sphere etc) Defense Research & Development Organization (Jodhpur, India) June?Aug, 2004


  • Design and Fabrication of a Phone Broadcaster prototype.

    We Studied various security devices and bugs ? related to telecommunications. Training in Equipment area (Fabrication, Assembly and Testing) and Sub assembly area (PCB Assembly and Testing). Defense Research & Development Organization (Jodhpur, India) June 2003.


  • Digital Image Processing

    In this project a code was written to modify and process the *.GRA and *.CLR images, which are most commonly used for defence and surveillance operations. The project was coded using C++.

  • Senior UnderGraduation Seminar: INTERNET2

    In my seminar, I studied and presented various kinds of internet technologies underscoring their security threats, abilene networks, Internet2 Technology evaluation and service implementation, I2 commons, Collaborating Video Conferencing and Live Video Streaming Techniques etc. I also looked into various aspects of Network Communications and Security, Packet Sniffing, DNS, Email, IP Spoofing etc.


  • TECHFEST2004 IIT Bombay: Nanotechnology-Room at the top

    Presented Paper on ?Nanotechnology-the room at top? at the Asia?s Largest Technical Festival ?TECHFEST 2004? in 2004 organised by IIT Bombay, discussing the interdisciplinary and disruptive aspects of nanotechnology, fabrication techniques, Convergence of top-down and bottom-up techniques, applications & markets.

  • ECSTACY02 MNIT(former MREC), Jaipur: WAP Technologies

    Presented Paper on Wireless Application Protocols at a State level Paper Presentation Contest organised by Malviya National Institute of Technology,(Formerly Malviya Regional Engg. College) Jaipur in 2002. Due stress was laid to present the various features and the working protocols of WAP. A live demonstration with adequate explanation was also provided which lead to the award of a Certificate of Appreciation.

OTHER ACTIVITIES


  • I have served as an active member of the TSC Trouble Shooter Committee of the campus during my UnderGraduation at SKIT, Jaipur. It is a student body responsible for looking after Networking and Computer related problems in the institute. At the same time, it has to provide technical assistance to the System Adminstrators and students.

  • TECHFEST 2005: Attended a workshop on USER CENTRIC DESIGN at TECHFEST 2005 - the annual technical festival of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay .

  • I worked efficiently as the Student System Administrator of the senior wing of the institute which has around 150 computers. As a StuSysAdmin I had to ensure the proper functioning of LAN of the institute and provide technical assistance to the inmates.

  • I worked as the Student Editor of the School and College Magazines, and have been appreciated for my work from time to time.

  • I worked as a Team Leader to represent my college at various intercollege programming and cultural competitions and have won many laurels in various colleges.

  • ORANE TECHNOLOGIES, Bangalore: Attended workshop organized by Orane Technologies, Bangalore on the study and design of Embedded Systems.
