Paprika Sauce
Paprika Martas

2 oz lard
4 oz chopped red onion
2 oz flour
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp vinegar
salt
water

Heat lard in pan. Sauté onions and flour on
medium heat for a few minutes. Add paprika,
vinegar and enough water to make a thin sauce
and cook fifteen minutes. You can thicken sauce
using a few spoonfuls of tomato pulp or a small
cupful of thick cream. Serve with fish, meat,
poultry or sausage.
