Felvidek Rolled Beef

1 3/4 round of beef sliced
9 oz ground beef
1 cup sour cream
1/4 Lb slab bacon sliced thin
1 onion chopped
1 or 2 cloves garlic chopped
handful of chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste
3 juniper berries
oil
1 cup red wine
1 tsp mustard
Take thin sliced beef and beat flat.
Season with salt and pepper. Mix the
ground beef with 4 or 5 Tbs of sour cream,
salt, pepper and parsley. Work together
and spread evenly on beef slices. Top mixture
with a thin piece of slab bacon. Roll up the
beef and skewer. Heat oil in pan and fry both
sides of the rolls and set aside. In same pan
sauté onions and garlic. Add wine, juniper
berries and the rolled beef and simmer until
tender. Mix the sour cream and the mustard
into the sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
Pour sauce on rolled beef. Serve with dumplings,
rice or potatoes.
