Jeff had to be, without a doubt, one of my favorite guy friends in high school. While he wasn't chasing around all the freshmen putang or trying to kill me with his horrible driving skills, he was always being a charming and sweet individual! Jeff was always concerned for his friends and cared deeply for their well-being. His personal character gave Jeff great acknowledgement not only as a friend but as a great commander too in JROTC, as well.
The best things that I remember about Jeff always has something to do with a vehicle. The ROTC gang would pile into his little beetle bug and cruise around town or we always had fun memories of all the trips that we went on for JROTC. I especially remember one moment when Jeff was trying to change lanes and I was in the backseat of the bug. I look out the window and could see the tonsils of the woman in the next car to me! Thats how close we were! She was a little old woman too and boy did some crazy words come flying out of that wrinkly mouth!
Anyway, after graduation, Jeff married the love of his life: Shauna Helms! He has become a great husband, wonderful father, and successful careersman. He has the cutest baby girl named, Melissa... a darling sweetheart and an accomplished chapstick stealer! I am very grateful that I got to see my friend flourish and prosper the way he has and I hope that we will continue to remain friends for life. |
