Dennis is probably the most unique ROTC cadet I have ever met. He's like one of them people who is really quiet, but when he happens to say something... everyone listens. Dennis is the one who actually got all the GMC's (General Military Cadets - Freshman and Sophormore ROTC geeks) to basically get to know one another and become friends. He set up this cool camping trip for us and we had a blast! If you want to read more about it... go the My Story page. Whats really cool about Dennis is that he plays Rugby even, though he is like 5'4". He's all about hardcore! Dennis runs around in these ugly hospital flipflops that are so old that they have holes in them. For some odd reason, Dennis decided to play football in them and got splinters all over his feet. Sometime that day I ran into him in the University Commons and he asked me to bite the friggen splinters out of his feet! How gross can you get! However, like the little trooper that I am... I decided to comply... NOT! Although, I did help him get the splinters out... I just used my fingers instead of my mouth. Dennis also has a roomate who is in ROTC named Jason C. A lot of us in the corps make fun of them because they look so much alike! So we gave them the nickname: The Tiki Brothers (they have an asian background). Anyway, Dennis is a really nice guy and fun to hang out with. If you ever want to really scare him.. pretend you are about to puke on him... its hilarious how he reacts! Just don't really do it... he might get mad at me then. |
