| Ph monitor | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Ph is one of the most important parameters that we need to take care. In order to keep an acurate record of the ph in my tank I have a Pinpoint PH monitor, a very useful device which is easily calibrated. |

| Because this is an SPS dominated tank, a strong current is needed to maintain all the SPSs healthy, I have one Little giant 4md pump connected to two 3/4" sea swirls facing to the back of the tank, these sea swirls make a 90 turn every 60 secs, they help to create a strong and random current and to eliminate dead spots. In order to reduce friction and improve water flow, all the plumbing was made using 1" PVC and reducing it to 3/4 just at the inlet of the sea swirls. Also, I used 45 elbows because each 90 greately reduces the water flow. These sea swirls are mounted using the acrylic mounting brackets because my tank has an "acrylic type" top. |
