The Gardening Year |
|
November Time to take breath and start ground preparation in earnest. Turning over and exposing grubs and pests for the birds is a useful start. Clearing away debris of your site will help keep down the slug and snail population. By November frosts have usually shown their face and you should bring in half hardly bulbs, tubers and corms or offer some protection in-situ for them |
Having a plot can be a very busy pastime. It is so easy to miss out and not be as organised as we would like. This calendar will hopefully help to ensure you do all of the things you wanted. Each month we will try and have some useful tips and assistance. This can never be a definitive list and relies on members adding all the time. So if you spot something you think others should know about drop us an e-mail |
