Summer's the time when everyone plays
Having picnics and swimming on very hot days.
In the summer, there's so many things to do
Camping, boating and having a bar-b-que.
The children love to play in the pool
Trying so hard just to stay cool.
Summer's the time when everything's green
With the most beautiful flowers the eyes have seen.
The days are humid, sticky and hazy
When we're not playing, we all seem so lazy.
We wonder will it cool off soon?
On one of those dog day afternoons.
During the summer nights, we'll look up there
To see the fireworks bursting in air.
So enjoy the summer, for it soon will be gone
And then we'll be singing autumn's song.
