There's always roadblocks in the way
Something that stops what we want to say.
The roadblocks in the path of life
Giving us pain and worry and strife.
The roadblocks that stop what we want to do
In life, they stop us from getting through.
It's how we deal with these roadblocks and cope
For all we can do is dream and hope.
These roadblocks only make us stronger
When the days seem short but the nights seem longer.
We deal with trouble with faith and hope
To dream of no roadblocks is the way to cope.
We'll get through the roadblocks too.
To dream and hope is what we must do.
To get by the things that stand in our way
To dream and hope for a better day.
