For most of my life, I have been looking to be in a relationship.
Ever since I was in grade school and I would see the "couples", I longed to have a boyfriend of my own. Once I got into high school and would see the boys and girls standing by their lockers, looking lovingly into each other's eyes or walking down the halls holding hands, I longed to be in that kind of a relationship.
As I got older, the need to be a loving relationship grew stronger. I wanted someone that loved me know matter what I did and when I did something wrong, he would tell that that everything would be ok. He would always be there for me and would always listen to me. He would never tell me when I did something wrong and if I did, he would always forgive me. He would always help guide me in everything I did and if I failed, he was always there to pick me up.
Well, I have finally figured out that I have always had that "perfect relationship", only I didn't know it until recently. That relationship was just there waiting for me to accept it and all I had to do was ask for it.
THAT RELATIONSHIP IS WITH THE LORD!
No matter what I do, the Lord is ALWAYS with me and will love me no matter what. He ALWAYS loves me and forgives me when I do something wrong. He is ALWAYS there when I need guidance or support. He ALWAYS understands, even when I don't. He ALWAYS listens to what I have to say. The Lord loves me unconditionally.
NOW ISN'T THAT THE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP?
I have now come to realize that most people aren't 100% happy in their relationships or that they keep choosing the wrong type of person. Sometimes women choose men that abuse them, either physically, emotionally or mentally. Sometimes men choose women that use them for whatever reason.
Well, the Lord will NEVER hurt you or use you.
All you have to do is accept Him into your life and ask for forgiveness for your sins.
Not only will He always be there for you; loving you, guiding you, helping you and supporting you, He will give you the best gift that anyone could ever give you. The gift of eternal life.
COULD ANYONE OFFER A BETTER GIFT?
I'm still new with my relationship with the Lord. I still stumble, but yet the Lord is always there to pick me up when I do and He always forgives me when I fail.
HOW CAN YOU NOT ACCEPT THAT AS THE PERFECT REALATIONSHIP?
Thank you Lord for loving me unconditionally, supporting me, guiding me and giving me faith when I need it the most.
I can honestly say that this is the BEST RELATIONSHIP I have ever had.
