I am proud of where I come from. No matter where I have been, I always come back home, for it is not only where my family is, it is where my heart is.
I have lived in Michigan most of my life. I wasn't born here, but both of my parents were. I was born in Fort Riley, Kansas and since my dad was in the Army, before I was 4 years old, I had been to Germany and California. (My mom told me that since I was only about 2 years old when we lived in Germany, that I picked up the language really quick and could actually talk to the neighbors--something she couldn't do. Unfortunely, I can't speak it now).
I will show you some beautiful pictures of the state I call my home, as well as the city I live in. So sit back and relax...I will also have some fun and interesting facts about Michigan. Some you may already have known and others you may not have known. (I know I didn't know some of them). I have also included a lot of pictures of both the upper and lower pennisulas of Michigan.
