| Our "Real Wedding" actually took place a week before our nice ceremony did. Our officiant, a friend and co-worker of mine, John, had been working toward earning his state licensing to perform wedding ceremonies. Unfortunately, he learned that the requirements would not be fulfilled in time for our wedding date. By then, it was too late to find another officiant on such short notice, so we went ahead and had a civil service at the library in Apple Valley, the small town where we live. It was short and simple, but it got the job done and we were able to go ahead with our public ceremony... |
| On our wedding day, we got up early and checked the mail and found out that we had a new credit card! Needless to say, we used it that weekend haha. Brandy, my Matron of Honor, and I went to the salon to get our hair done and then we made our way to our wedding site, a beautiful bed and breakfast in Big Bear, California. There, we got all the food ready and set up the decorations while Brandon and Dean went to the cake store to get our Wedding Cake. |
| Once everything was set up, we went to my room and began getting ready. Of course the men were ready long before us women were, but we eventually caught up and the celebration was about to begin! |
