TAURUS, the Bull , ruled by the planet Venus, the Goddess of Love.  Tall and slender, golden hair, and draped in gowns of silk, Venus' home abounds with beautiful music, paintings, and sculptures.   Born April 21 through May 21, Taurus is the second sign of the Zodiac. An earth sign or a calm, enterprising, sensible personality.

Characterized by their dimples love of music, and ease with relaxation.  They do not like to be pushed or persuaded or made to move. o Taureans are self-controlled, have a gentle spirit, are romantic in an earthy way, are independent, practical, and teach us all to honor our self-worth and praise our resourcefulness.  They are resourceful and, at times, quite stubborn.

Our Taurean neighbors are generous, enjoy the feel of paper money and love the sound of money jingling in their pockets, love the aroma of cloves, the sparkle of copper wares, and the warmth of emeralds and other precious stones.

Taureans enjoy dining on flavorful, nourishing foods such as homemade soups, stews, or breads and feel secure when their cupboards and pantry are fully stocked.

Our Taurean neighbor is a lifelong friend, seeks a loving, stable, comfortable home life to enhance their happiness, have an appreciation for Nature and are at ease with the acceptance of responsibility.  They can take on other people's obligations, sometimes without even knowing it.

A Taurean's physical body profits from almonds, beans, berries, carrots, cherries, lettuce, onions, potatoes, and the herbs Acacia, Golden Seal, and Irish Moss.  The body areas our Taurean neighbors may have difficulties with include the throat, neck, and shoulders.  A daily walk among Mother Nature's miracles benefits our earthy neighbor immensely.

Our Taurean neighbors' pleasing attributes are enduring and good natures, and they excel in the occupations of real estate brokers, bookkeepers, and ranchers.

A Taurean gardener would love to receive a small wooden crate plus a bottle of sun screen, and these trees and veggie seeds:  avocados, beans, blackberries, grapes, spinach, apple tree, and cherry tree.

Here are a few more items to add to a Taurean gardener's small wooden crate: Aspen tree, Daffodils, Lily of the Valley, and Sage.
