| On 12-27-07, the Humeston Fire Depatment responded to this machine shed fire. The shed was full of small bales of hay that had been in the building for 4 years. This was a difficult fire to fight as hay is nearly impossible to extinguish. We used 10 gallons a Class A foam on this fire. The cause appears to be faulty wiring. We were assisted by Corydon FD, Allerton FD, Humeston First Responders, Wayne Co. Ambulance, Wayne Co. Sheriff's Office and Wayne Co. Emergency Management. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
