On 08-31-09, the Humeston First Responders & the Humeston FD were paged to the scene of a semi rollover to assist Garden Grove First Responders & Garden Grove FD. Humeston was paged at 0624 and arrived on scene at 0634. The driver of the semi was extricated at approximately 0815. The driver suffered a broken scapula, broken ribs and a broken collarbone. Other departments assisting at the scene included Mercy One Air Ambulance, Wayne County Ambulance, Decatur County Ambulance, Leon FD, Weldon FD, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa DOT, Decatur County Sheriff's Office and Wayne County Sheriff's Office. |
