On the morning of 02-28-07, the Humeston Fire Department responded to a report of smoke coming from WoJo's Restaurant and Lounge. Upon arrival the kitchen was fully involved. The fire spread into the attic before it could be extinguished. Allerton, Derby, Corydon and Garden Grove Fire Depts were called for assistance. The Humeston First Responders, Wayne Co. Ambulance, Wayne Co. Sheriff's Office and Wayne Co. Emergency Management also assisted. After investigation, the cause was ruled arson. Two arrests have been made. |
