Introduction.
Humanitarian Center is a
scientific, research and consulting organization, which specializes in the sphere of
firm’s projecting and development through the changes of their management structure and
productivity, personnel’s selection and training, the modeling of the system of their
interaction with clients. First of all, we work with really acting and market-orientated
organizations: manufactures, commercial firms, human and educational funds, financial
companies, higher education establishments and so on.
The History.
Humanitarian Center was founded
by a group of psychologists - practitioners in 1989 in Kharkov as an ungovernmental
organization – a subsidiary of Applied Psychology Center (Saint – Petersburg State
University, Russia). At the beginning of its work it was orientated on the investigations
of CP NPS (the Control Panel of Nuclear Power Stations) operators’ work in uncertain
situations to develop professional training program. Since 1991 Humanitarian Center
has been working in the sphere of staff’s assessment, selection and training for
business – structures and privatized manufactures. In 1994 we became an independent
organization.
For 10 years of our work on the market Humanitarian
Center has provided stable interactions with 40 companies of Russia, Ukraine, and
Lithuania.
At present we have a wide range of
different projects.
We study the labour market, labour
values in the transitional period of economy, work out the policy of personnel’s
management, hold staff’s assessment and testing. We have a rich experience in
elaboration of methods of personnel’s selection and assessment.
We deal with the market investigation.
Particularly, we worked out and held some advertising campaigns on the market of
industrial machinery, electronics, auto spares and so on. We elaborate methods and
modeling of special oriented texts, investigate communication in the natural language. In
this sphere we have some scientific publications and practical elaborations.
Our Center studies and analyzes
customers’ behaviour, deals with behavioral and psychographical segmentation, with
organizing of a strategy and methods of sale, its stimulation, and so on.
We deal with restructuring of former state and
now privatized organizations, planning of their structure, the rise of their productivity,
the inculcation of effective management structures and business – communication. Humanitarian
Center is interested in scientific investigations of missions and cultures of modern
business structures (organizational concepts) for the real sector of economy.
Humanitarian Center has a specialization
on conducting of post high educational programs with the aim of adaptation of such groups
of people, who have high education but could not find their place on the market (e.g
retired offices). For this aim we together with Saint – Petersburg State University
founded the Specialized Department of post high education in “Organizational
Psychology”. Its educational program contains more than 1400 academic hours.
Our Center takes an active part in
scientific investigations in the sphere of organizational psychology, carries out cross
– cultural, organizational psychological researches. Also we are going to publish
scientific literature in organizational and economical psychology, psycholinguistics, in
personnel’s training and management.
Humanitarian Center’s programs on
personnel’s selection and specialized department are licensed according to Ukrainian
State standard.
