Whatchaknowaboutit?
In the Summer of 2000, Dave Koji and Eric Palonen set out to record their highly anticipated debut album entitled "Whatchaknowaboutit?". A concept that became vocabulary in 1998, the success of the cult song spurred demand for a full-length album. Production began immediately.
Finally, the infamous song "Whatchaknowaboutit?" was accompanied by seven other songs, and released shortly after graduation from
Griswold High School in 2000. With the complexity and depth of Koji's rhymes, coupled with the catchy, intense "E-Motions" of Palonen, the album was set to be a classic even prior to it's release.
A rookie release for up and coming producer EDawg, the team of Koji/Palonen have learned the tricks of the trade, learned from their mistakes, and accepted Whatchaknowaboutit? as
the steppingstone of things to come...
