(From Paring Erick) Torres March Walang uuna sa Torres High
O Torres naming mahal
The lyrics were provided by my secretary-driver, Melchor,
himself a
There were a few trivia during the reunion: 1. Mon Salas and Jollo Semilla thought all the while that Felix Parado belonged to E2. 2. I was asking Helen why she's now sporting a new hairstyle; no longer curly but beautifully straight. 3. Beng and Elmer Pangan is the "team to beat" when it comes to added poundage. I wonder how big their bed is. 4. Elmer Pangan is an NBI agent! 5. Ronnie Nieva is a far cry from the Ronnie we knew: skinny. He has tripled his former size and could not even wear his wedding ring as it couldn't fit in to his bulging finger. Mon Salas was just a poor runner-up to Ronnie. 6. Jaime Tan and Ross Misa are the most matured-looking men among the "boys." 7. Jaime Tan has to the most number of children (five, with one who died shortly after birth). He's also the only one who already has a daughter in college. (Correction: Perlie has a son and daugther in college. Merlie has a daughter in college, too.) 8. Ross Misa's information sheet says, Present Occupation: TV Commercial Producer. 9. Rey Medenilla, Ruby Atanacio and Ofelia Celestino have remained single to these days. 10. During the deliberations, Edna, by slip of the tongue, asked Ronnie if his surname is "still" Nieva. 11. The most missed teachers are: Ms. Yanguas (Speech and Drama), Ms. Miralles (History) and Ms. de Ocampo a.k.a. Doris Van de Bogart (Humanities). 12. Nelson Ceña sung very, very good . . . until we learned that it was the multiplex voice guide and not him. 13. Unconsciously, the attendees were seated by section per table during dinner 'though the general bonding was evident. 14. One batchmate failed to submit his information sheet, a dark,
tall man who attended the meeting but did not go to the agape. I
can't recall his name. He is actually the 40th member of the group.
(...Must be Rolando De Vera)
