I Will Love Again spends a second week at #1 on the most prestigious Billboard Club Play Chart and moves from #2 to #1 on the RecordPoolCharts.com Dance Chart !
It's quite an accomplishment for a first single, now the song needs to be embraced by mainstream radio so don't forget to request it non-stop. You can also vote for Lara on MTV and MuchMusic tv here.

Lara's album will be on sales on may 30th in the US, and Lara will make special appearances on daytime TV in the USA, and more appearances may be around the corner. Be sure to watch :

The Today Show - Tuesday May 30 @ 7-9am EST on NBC in NYC.
The View - Thursday June 1 @ 11am EST / 10am PST on ABC.

Be sure to pick up the june issues of Glamour and Vanity Fair as Lara will be featured in profile articles. She is also on the cover of a brand new canadian magazine called Come As You Are.
The lattest edition of Billboard magazine also has an in-depth article about Lara. We learn that Columbia NY is offering a money-back guarantee for everyone who buys Lara's record, which is unheard of !

Ici Paris magazine is reporting sales of 1,000,000 million for Lara's debut. Also as of monday, the single for IWLA is on the shelves, with a cover that is the same as the Adagio single. The single mix is a little bit different, the same as the video. Here are the references (Epic 668564 2)

"French Kiss" a program on the Much Music channel aired the program as part of the International Women's Day. It featured videos of Adagio, Tout and Si tu m'aimes; as well as on-location footage for I Will Love Again video, and Love By Grace performance at the Canadian showcase. It was really awesome. Lara was interviewed by Juliet Powell about her humble beginnings as a Quebec songstress to her rise to superstardom in France. Lara confirmed it once again..she's ready !

On French TV and mags
Lara will be on the "Dansez maintenant" variety show on saturday march 18th along side Ricky Martin. Lara is also on the current cover of the French tabloid Ici Paris. The featured article "She nearly died" is reporting that Lara and her team got the scare of their life on a plane from Milan to Hamburg. The flight was extremely tumultuous but fortunately it landed safely !

March 4th, 2000

Lara was on Canada AM yesterday, which is the number one show in the country. She was there to sing Givin' Up On You in a live pre-recorded performance. The journalists kept saying nice things about the buzz around her but they couldn't pronounce her name right !

A radio station in Ottawa called Magic 100 said that Lara's album has already sold 800,000 copies worldwide and that the single I Will Love Again will be launched in the US, Australia, China and Europe as the initial single, except for Canada.

Ultimate made it happen once again: after being the site of the day at RamDam.com, and featured in French magazine Fan De, the site is now talked about in Quebec with a pic included. What a thrill !!

The release party was an occasion to introduce to the English Canadian press and present her her album, so hopefully we'll start reading reviews about the album all across the country soon.

On thursday afternoon, Global TV broadcasted Lara's interview on "Bynon" show which can be seen throughout Canada. It was a short but fantastic segment where the singer talked about her enthusiasm to start over in different langage. She insisted she welcomes the challenge which includes writing her material, and being involved in the management of her career and production company. Clips of the video for Adagio were shown during and after the interview.

There was a huge turnout for the Lara Quebec chat. Over the hundreds of questions she recieved, Lara answered about 30 and said among other things that I Am Who I Am would be a future single, and that she will be in the UK in late marchg for 2 days of promotion. Lara was on the TVA Quebec live show, where she performed Givin' Up On You. In her interview, Lara said that in talking to her fans over the net she realizes they care much more about her career than gossip about her personal life.

Lara performed her new single I Will Love Again tonight on the Program "Nuit Magique" on French TV. She was dressed in a sexy pink top and black pants, and througout the song she grooved with her male dancers !!

Immortalized in a comic sketch show in France
Lara has the "honnour" of being the first female singer to have her own puppet on the comedy sketch Les guignols de l'info, airing on Canal+ TV in France. Lara's puppet premiered this week appearing 3 times as a guest on the "intox" news, which is quite similar in format to Saturday Night Live's Week-End Update. The puppet is very funny, vibrant and excessively dramatic, and often breaks into song (Je t'aime) after a chat segment.

Lara will be chating live on Quebec's Canoe News Page this tuesday, february 22nd at 5pm Montreal time. (17 heures). Only about 30 questions will be selected and proposed to Lara for answering, so we think it's best you prepare your questions in advance.

At 9pm the same day, Lara will appear live on Point J show on TVA (check your local listings) and will perform her upcoming single "I Will Love Again"

We just learned that Lara Fabian will be in Canada for her first real promotional tour since the release of the album last november. Lara will be promoting her new single for Canada and the rest of the world : I Will Love Again. As a first stop, Lara will be performing live on the Point J show on TVA on February 22 th (check your local listings) and she will be in Toronto from February the 23rd to 25th.

So far, Lara's english debut has sold 500,000 copies throughout the world, including 50,000 copies in Canada where the single Adagio didn't get the airplay expected. However, radios started played Givin' Up On You from the album in Ottawa, and throughout Ontario slowly making it a radio hit without any push from Sony. The song currently sits at #24 on canadian radio charts. With the release of I Will Love Again, set to hit the airwaves in the US on march 1st, album sales should pick up. Lara shot 2 versions of the video (English & spanish) in Toronto a few weeks ago.
