Often confused with hummingbirds, the Hummingbird Moth, also called the White Line Sphinx Moth, is actually an insect and not a bird.   They often visit the same flowering plants, however the Moth does not have a bill to reach deep into tubular flowers.  It can usually be identified by the antenna on its head.
