When God made Eve, she got her life directly from Adam and indirectly from God through Adam. But Adam's life came directly from God and he was commanded to till and cultivate the garden east of Eden, that God with His own hand had planted. It has always been true that God made man to work and be the gardener of His plan. When this first earth passes away, we are going to live in new earth. God has a brand new earth. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." (Revelation 21:1) I do not know where it is, but it is out there somewhere and it is everything we will need as long as time exists and God lives. And, I believe that we are going to be restored to the originality of what God wanted us to be in the first place.
I am right now apart of the first man Adam, the part that God wanted me to become, before Adam failed. But in order to achieve that which was in Adam at one time, we have to be spiritually reborn again! Not made from the dust of the ground, but born again through the blood of Jesus Christ.
God made man to till this earth because the Bible says that He said there was no man to till the ground and then he made man.
)5 "And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain up on the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
)6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
