Pinocchio won an Academy Award for the song "When You Wish Upon a Star"

Pinocchio is the story of a woodcarver named Geppetto, who wishes he could have a real son.  So the blue fairy brings one of his carved puppets, Pinocchio, to life and gives him the chance to become a real boy.  He is given Jiminey Cricket to help him and act as his conscience, but he will face many dangers and obstacles before he can become a real boy.
