Based on The Jungle Book (1894) by Rudyard Kipling.  It is the story of a young boy, Mowgli, who is raised by wolves.  He is urged by his friend, Bagheera the wise panther, to seek refuge in the man village.  Mowgli hates the idea and runs offs.  He then meets a new friend, Baloo "the jungle bum" bear.  Together the three journey back to civilization encountering many hazards along the way.  Including, Kaa, the sly snake, King Louie and his crazy monkeys, and Shere Khan, the evil tiger.
