Bambi is the story of a young fawn.  He is born the prince of the forest and arises on wobbly legs.  Soon, he makes new friends in Thumper, the outspoken rabbit, and Flower, the bashful skunk.  He explores his new world, guided by the wisdom of Friend Owl.  But when Bambi's mother dies he is forced to grow up quickly and survive on his own.
