The idea was to put a new spin on the classic story of Oliver Twist. This movie uses a cast of dogs instead of gang of kids, and a lone kitten stars as the orphan Oliver. Fagan falls into the role of caretaker to the group and Sykes remains the villian. It is a classic story with a new twist.
I absolutely love this movie. It was my favorite when I was little and I remember having a huge Oliver and Company poster on my wall. I wish I had kept it!

I don't know about Fagan, I mean I guess he's a nice guy he loves the dogs. But he kind of annoys me.
