Computer Applications in Science is SITPA's technology elective. Completion of this course fulfills the high school graduation requirement in computer literacy. Guest instructors from a variety of disciplines will take students beyond basic literacy, from computational modeling to cosmic ray detection, from visualizing vibrations to an introduction to robotics.

Students will assist guest instructors in preparing and delivering their guest lessons, and will be guided by science and technology advisors as they prepare to deliver their own lessons to the class.

SITPA students who are interested in any career in the sciences should take this course.
