Random Shit
November 25, 2002 - "Any girl with a guitar is hot. Granted, she's a hippie albino. She could still be prom queen."

Motherfucker!

I got this this morning on the way to work. I heard a rock hit my windshield, but no crack appeared. In fact, I never noticed it until i got in my car to go home after work.

October 6, 2002 - "I can't believe what a bunch of nerds we are. We're looking up 'money laundering' in a dictionary."

W00t! I would have posted this last week when I first got it:
but I was too busy playing it. It's too bad my piece of shit AT&T cable is only good for bandwidth and not ping times. So I guess I might have to do most of my UTing offline with bots.

I also got NOLF2. I've only played a few hours of it, but so far I've had a lot of fun. So for now I have plenty of PC gaming goodness.

September 8, 2002 - "Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty"

Wow, long time no update. I guess I haven't had much going on to warrant one though. All I have for now is that I bought some of that "Pepsi Blue" stuff just to see what it is like. All I can say is that it's like carbonated liquid gummi bears or something like that.

I upgraded my audio system. I might put some pictures up later if I was so inclined. I ended up spending about twice that which I had planned.

It's about 12:30am on sunday and I don't seem to want to go to bed despite the fact that I have to wake up at 7 to get ready for work.

July 16, 2002 - "I wanna slit your throat, and fuck the wound"

Yeah, another update, because People = Shit.

July 16, 2002 - "We're wasting more energy than Ricky Martin's girlfriend!"
A friend pointed this out to me. For about $165 plus tax I got an LCD screen plus a portable DVD player. The DVD player itself is pretty cool. I actually got the least hideous one, if that's believable. But the player itself plays more than just DVDs. It will play VCDs, SVCDs, MP3s, as well has show JPG files. That thing was found at Target for about $100. The LCD can be had at Fry's or Outpost for $50. The screen was designed for the PSOne, so I had to go looking around for an AC adapter made for the PSOne. I tried using 2 generic ones, but the first one didn't supply enough current and the second one overheated somehow despite being rated at 1000mA (I measured the LCD at work, and it needs around 940mA). So I ended up giving Software Etc. (now called Gamestop) over on Steven's Creek (inside B&N) a call and they had one, so I picked it up.

What you see on the screen is from an SVCD I made using my ATi AIW and a cdr.

July 8, 2002 - "I know! You construct a weapon. Look around you. Can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?"

Look what I got! And dude! It's a Type-R! That means it gets at least 50 more HP!

Seriously though, it is the coolest thing I have bought in a while. I can put 5 or 6 cds worth of music on one disc on high compression mode, and it's still very listenable.

One other thing, that Greg is all talk. I'm not sure when he put that up there, but it's been a while.

June 30, 2002 - "ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU SPEAK IT?!"

I find it amusing when people post shit and they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

June 11, 2002 - "She wakes up, and I'm caught staring again"

It seems that in recent memory all of the cashiers at Safeway have felt compelled to say something to me other than the obligatory "hello, how are you doing?" and "your total comes to (insert total here)." Every single one, that is, except for the hot chick. Now, why is it that only the hot chick doesn't feel compelled to say more than she has to?!

Oh, and it seems that only Sam wants to play my little game. That's fine. Whatever. Oh, and he got the last quote, which was Moe in "Treehouse of Horror II". After quite a bit of coaxing, he finally got the "We should have shotguns for this kinda deal" quote, which is from Pulp Fiction.

Another thing, since people at work listen to a radio station that plays more mainstream music, I've finally heard the original versions of most, if not all, of the songs that Jimmy Fallon has parodied.

June 5, 2002 - "I'm a stupid moron with an ugly face and a big butt and my butt smells...and I like to kiss my own butt."

I was thinking about maybe putting up an mp3 or two of me just playing around on my guitar, but something has discouraged me. I don't know if anybody watches "Malcolm in the Middle" (it's not that I do...anymore...but I happened to see the ending of this one), but there was one episode where Lois is taking ballroom dancing lessons. Towards the end of the episode, we see her dancing beautifully with her instructor. Afterwards, he tells her that she's too good and that this other guy can better teach her. Later at home, one of her kids is watching the video they made during the class and they so happened to capture that very performance. It was only after seeing herself on video that she realized that she in fact sucks ass and that the teacher was just trying to get rid of her. So to make a long story short (too late!) that's pretty much what I experienced upon hearing the recording I made of my guitaring. After 10 years, you'd think that I'd at least be decent, but damn, do I suck ass! And this isn't just me being humble either. If I let you listen to that mp3, you'd say to yourself, "damn he really does suck ass!"

June 2, 2002 - "We should have shotguns for this kinda deal."

So Sam got the "This means something..." quote correct. If you were wondering, Fox Mulder says it in my all time favorite The X-Files episode of all time, "Bad Blood." He also guess who said, "Aw, I gotta go. My damn weiner kids are listening," but he had to cheat to identify the episode, so that one is still up for grabs.

May 31, 2002 - "Aw, I gotta go. My damn weiner kids are listening."

So I'm thinking of starting a little game. If you email me with the correct source for these quotes I'm putting up, you will get...um...the satisfaction of knowing the source of some random quote. Oh, and I'll probably make an update with whomever gets it first. If the source is a tv show, you have to supply either the episode title, or a brief description of what happened. There are too many The Simpsons quotes that are easily identified as being from the show, so I want to make it a little more challenging. Yesterday's might be a little difficult, since it could possibly be from a number of sources. I'll give you a hint. The answer is contained within the update itself.

May 30, 2002 - "This means something..."

Woohoo! I finally receieved my The X-Files Season 5 DVD set. It includes my all time favorite X-Files episode of all time (bonus points if you can name the movie from which that is referenced), "Bad Blood." I've noticed that I tend to favor the more humorous episodes like "Humbug", "Jose Chung's From Outer Space", "Small Potatoes", and "The Unusual Suspects". That doesn't mean I don't like the more serious ones. Episodes like "Home", "Beyond The Sea", and "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" are also quite excellent. Now all I need to do is find some time to watch these dvds. I'm only 4 episodes into season 4 and already season 5 is here. I probably won't even be done with season 4 when season 6 comes out.

I think my car has become Sam. I am finding myself needing to hose her off at least once a day because she has been shit on by birds.

May 22, 2002
Woohoo! The digital camera I ordered arrived today. I'd take pics of it, but the battery is charging at the moment.

Most people who know me know that I never listen to the radio (they don't seem to play much metal). Anyways, people listen to the radio at work. It's mostly stuff like Alice 97.3 or 98.5 KFOX (everytime I hear them go 98.5 I expect to hear "KOME" after it, but of course, that was a long time ago). The point is that I've been hearing songs by the likes of Alanis Morissette, Cheryl Crow, Dido, Matchbox 20, etc., and I'm starting to dig that new Alanis song "Hands Clean" along with some Dido and Cheryl Crow.

1 year and 10037 miles later and I couldn't be happier with it.

May 12, 2002
Woohoo! Finally got the pr0n pipe in, so expect to see updates more often.

April 28, 2002
You may have noticed that I haven't been updating much recently. Well, that's because I moved out of my parents' house and I have yet to get broadband at my new place. Anyways, since I'm on my own now, I have to do my own shopping. Just yesterday I was at Safeway buying some food. As I was waiting for the cashier to finish ringing up my items, she gave my buns a little sqeeze and told me that "They are soft." Okay, so technically they weren't buns. They were just the submarine sandwich type bread, but she did sqeeze them and tell me they were soft.

April 27, 2002
So last weekend I laid eyes on an actual Playboy model. I don't know what she was doing at a comic book convention...wait, an event where a bunch of horny, lonely comic book guys gather sounds like a great place for a hot chick to earn a few bucks.

April 25, 2002
I'm sure you've all heard by now that Alice In Chains lead singer Layne Staley was found dead in his home on Friday, April 19. You can read more about it here.

Aw, who cares? Jay and Bob wasn't previously produced material.'

Best Animated Feature
See above, only replace "previously produced" with "animated feature." Plus, I guess Shrek deserves it.

Best Cinematography
I guess we can let Lord of the Rings have that one.

That's probably all the awards anyone really cares about. Plus, I'm too lazy to come up with shit for the rest of them.

I always seem to get stuck behind someone who thinks merging on the highway at 40mph is a good idea. I figure if everybody owned the car Consumer Reports named the most fun car to drive, then no one would even think of trying to merge at that speed.

March 17, 2002
Finally, after about 2 months, I'm pretty much done with my GT3.

February 26, 2002
Woohoo! I've been waiting for this dvd ever since I first saw the movie!

February 22, 2002
Okaay, I guess I'm in the minority in thinking Gillian Anderson is at least above average in looks.

February 16, 2002

What world does Sam live in where the average woman looks as good as Gillian Anderson? Tell me Sam, are the chicks at Loma Linda that attractive to raise the average up to Gillian's level?!

February 7, 2002
Damnit, maybe I should just stop washing my car.

January 21, 2002
Aaaargh! After months of letting my car go unwashed for fear of having it rain again, I finally washed it after having about 2 weeks of no rain. So just to spite me, it decided to rain today.

January 20, 2002
Woohoo! Almost 2 hours on ICQ and not one piece of spam!

January 17, 2002
So I was driving home on 237 when I found myself behind someone driving the same car I was, except it was the blue one and I have the black one. Anyways, I noticed that his rear license plate cover matched mine. Seeing as how I have the dealer covers on, I figure, "Cool, he got it at the same place." Then I notice the plates. Imagine my surprise when I see that his license plate number is the same as mine save for the last digit, which is mine minus 3. Of course, the dealer probably just sent the paperwork to a bunch of cars to the DMV at the same time, but what are the chances of me ending up driving behind this guy at that exact moment? Well, according to the last episode of "Dark Angel", the chances are 100%, since it happened.

January 16, 2002
Is it just me, or has there been a whole lot more ICQ spam going around lately?

January 4, 2002
Check out what I found in my shower this morning. I usually put my contacts in after I shower, so I didn't even know what it was at first. I thought it was a hairball or something. But when I bent down to pick it up and throw it away, it decided to move. That's when I knew it wasn't just a hairball.
