Wow, isn't she beautiful? That's a NY Mets sticker on the bumper. My parents had handed this down to me in late 1990. I had to pay insurance and gas. It had the fire breathing 3.3 Liter in-line 6 cylinder engine with a massive one barrel carb. Good for about 100 hp. Cousin to the Ford Fairmount.
Now what did my parents sell to buy this car in 1987 you ask? A 75,000 mile 1970 Chevy Impala 2 door hardtop. Doh! That had a 350, 4 bbl carb. It was my grandparents car. They used it for a Sunday chruch car since it was new. It spent it's life in the garage. Wish I had that today.
While I had this wagon, I put in a Soundesign casstte with a Pyrimid amp pushing 2 Pioneer woofers. May sound cheap, well it was, but it did thump. Had this car for about a year before I sold it and bought the Lazer. |
