| Felt like I was Dale Earndhart while behind the wheel of this. OK, maybe not. But, this was just a nice Lumina. I mean it was better than the standard Luminas but not a drivers car what-so-ever. Looked faster than it was. It had a 3.4 liter 4 cam, 24 valve V6 good for 210 hp. This engine was also found in it's corporate cousins, the Grand Prix GTP and the Olds Cutlass Supreme. But it wasn't very fun to drive. Maybe if I had the 5-speed it could have been better. You feel disconnected from the road. I traded away my 1989 Mustang GT Conv for this. I'm still scraching my head over that move. Although, this was excellent in snow and the anti-lock breaks were the best I had used up to that date. |
