| This is a super-rare Nitro Yellow-Green Dodge Neon. It has a little more green than this picture shows. It is said there were only 373 produced by Chrysler in late 94 and early 95. Chrysler called it an "impact" color, meant to draw attention to the lauch of the new Neon models in late 1994. Nitros were all "Sport" models and available in 2 or 4 door versions, 4 door being more common. The only options this car didn't have were rear-disk brakes, 5 spoke aluminum wheels and power windows. This was my mother's car for 2 years. I have only seen 4 other ones since 1994. You would think that the rare color would make it more valueable today, but in fact they sell for the same if not less than "normal" colored Neons. I you have a Nitro or know of someone who has one please email me. Check back soon, I have some pics of this car taken with a 2 door Nitro I found in Rapid City, SD. When I find them, I will put them up. |
