Clients
Ok so theres a bunch of clients you can use n heres a list of em....:
sysreset
mIRC
Invision
UPP (not sure..mayb iss only a script...?)
as i find more ill post em....n the sites too i guess...?
so whaddoi do affer i gots a client?
well if u need help with things either coe find me at skool(which isn as hard as ud think...) or join a channel im on and wait for me to come bak. #kms-mv is the official channel for us so ya....n then if im online ill always be in that channel, usually asnchar (name withheld for his safety =P) will be too. Or u could jus read the resta the junk ill put here
bots,fserves,wtF is that!?
ok well....fserves usually mean normal servers that use "triggers". So trigger s r things u type in to access sumones fserve or sumthin like that. So many channels require u to use silent triggers, meaning the triggers(suposed to newayz...) have a "/ctcp" part in the front. so for example well use my fserve... my trigger for anime is "/ctcp huhyn anime" n ud type that into the window(aka channel) and then send it, itll show up different from normal text and ull be the only one who cs it on ur screen. Then if im not lagged a new chat window(not to chat with me but the comp...complicated a bit...) will pop up and itll say all this stuff...like acknowledging...etc etc and stuff bout my server. then ull use other commands to access the files.
Now most channels also have things called bots. The bots r xdcc, meaning if u typed in "xdcc list" then hypothetically all the xdcc bots would begin listing, but most channels prohibit xdcc listing. So in that case ull have to /msg then bot. the way to do this is "/msg *the name goes here without the asterix* xdcc list" and then if they didnt deny xdcc list itll list all the files u have access to. they list things in "packs" the packs r the files.
no there are alos other types of xdcc bots, one of which i kno of(and use) its a little more complicated. for example if u wanted to c they pools (folders basically) that i had on my xdcc ud type "/ctcp huhyn xdcc list". notice how its /ctcp not /msg. then itll tell u wha to do frum there.
Misc.....
ok so the channels u wanna go to r harda find rite? so heres a couple ways u can try to find channels:
Search IRC
or if ur using sysreset u can use the lil square with the globe and a # sign over it. U enter what ur searching for and then itll list out the channels it found (sum may not show up because theyr secret)
