The Hugga Bunch Movie
Wow, hugworks!
"Recommended for ages 4-10", The Hugga Bunch Movie was pretty popular among the young and old.  This 1984  'Hallmark Cards, INC.' film from Children's Video Library is about a little girl named Bridget (Gennie James) who loves to hug - and loves her grandmother dearly.  She has tea parties with her stuffed toys, eats odd pancake sandwiches, worries about her brother AND hears strange noises coming from the mirror to her closet.

Seven year-old Bridget tries to tell her family that she has people in her mirror.  But they pass it off as a lonely childhood phase.

Then, a furry pink-haired 'little people' pops out of her mirror, talking to her.  Bridget is shocked!  But when she's pulled through the mirror herself, she finds that she's not the only one who loves to hug.  Little Bridget encounters many interesting friends on the way through Huggaland.

Her journey of trying to help her 'Grams' from having to live in another home, for "people her own age" has an awesome ending.  It'll really bring you closer to the ones you love the most.
