`,,`,, `,,`,,`,,

I came here hoping to find myself
To begin a new life by using my full potential.
I found you.

I shook your hand in the basement office
The place where they shoved you out of their way
And demeaned you...made you a joke
But that wasn't who I met when I looked into your eyes.

At first I thought you were a child with a story
A story that you told so many time that you believed it now.
But then I followed you.

I followed you to places where I saw things
That I never thought possible
And that my mind would never let me accept
So I couldn't believe.
But I believed you.

Even when I fought your theories
It was only to take away my fear
That what you were saying could be true.

I trust you.
Only you, no one else.
You opened my eyes so that I could see things
That I never knew were there.
But the only thing I still care about
Was when I turned my open eyes toward you
And saw everything you were,
And everything I never knew I'd wanted.

When I came here,
It was to know myself better
And I have
But I found something I had been missing.
I found you.
