Summary: This poem is about unrequited love, and how breaking the silence and speaking of one's feelings can ruin everything. Sigh.

Entrapment

Words would
like seed crystals falling
into supersaturated solutions
solidify
what once was
your fluidity
flexibility
set you forever
into a pattern
not
of your making
form an ionic lattice
that would
like bars
surround you
