Sept. 14, 2001: Well it has been a long time since we updated. We have been working hard getting ready for the tour of our lives!!! We are leaving on Wed. morning after two Keller Williams' shows; and we will be in Seattle on the 21st for Oysterhead tour opener!!! This will be their first complete public performance since the last time Sarah and I saw them at JazzFest 2000. We have tix for: Seattle, Berkeley, both Denver shows, Chicago, Indiana and tour closer in Florida!! We downloaded the video clips from Oysterhead.com and I am quite impressed > the jamming that is going to come out of this band will be phenominal. We are skipping a few shows to avoid impossible drives, but are planning on checking out Widespread Panic for the first time along the way too. We are planning on staying in Florida for a bit after tour. Don't forget to call our voice mail # and leave a message if you need to get a hold of us. Also, we should be able to check the e-mail pretty well too. Hope to see you all soon We'll have fun out there Mikie & Sarah
Aug. 30, 2001: Woo Hoo!!! The Oysterhead dates have been out for a bit now and we are very excited!! We are currently planning on doing the whole tour minus the Canadian shows and NYC. Also, we have our internet back with cable modem styles!! Very nice indeed, so look for this page to become cluttered with photos and links a plenty. Loving you >> Mikie & Sarah
Aug. 18, 2001: Well we are back in Mankato, MN now after about 3 weeks on Trey tour. We also saw WEEN at the Beachcomber n Wellfleet MA, very intimate show. And Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade at Lupo's in Providence RI for my 27th birthday show!!!!!
We are now back to work trying to save up for as much Oysterhead tour as we can get time off for.... Just waiting on the dates now...
July 19, 2001: Sarah and I are preparing to jump on Trey Anastasio tour at Alpine Valley and finish it off in Saratoga Springs. We are going to have the same setup as last time, but in our new van!!!! So look for our blue easy up around supper time at every show!
After tour we are coming home through Niagara Falls, Ontario and thoroughly exploring Northern Michigan and a bit of Northern Wisconsin. Also a bit of Duluth area in Minnesota; then back down to Mankato and back to work until Oysterhead tour or October 1st: whichever comes first. We miss you and hope to run into you on the lots!!
