| This is right before we go to Cape Cod, our whale watching expedition. It was The Seven Seas Whale Watch Company and this is everybody waiting to get on board. The ship is called The Privateer; we went out to sea in the Gulf of Maine about 27 land miles. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get out that far and that's when we saw all the Humpback Whales!! We saw about 15 total in what they called the best siting of the summer. They were just coming out of the water all around the boat; full breaches, open mouth feeding and all. It was like being in a dream - the whales were so close to our boat that we would get sprayed with the water out of their blow holes when they surfaced!! |
