| Moloch the Corrupter. He calls himself Malcolm Black when talking to Willow over the Net. Demon ? He�s seen in flashback as a big green demon, then when released into the Net he appears as just words on screen to begin with, then speaks electronically. He has a robot metal body constructed & moves into that. He needs his followers to declare their love for him, then he tends to kill them. He is magicked into a book by Italian monks in the 15th century, but released into the Net when Willow scans the book. Even though he disappeared from the world in the 15th century, he must have been fairly well known beforehand as Jenny knew who Moloch was the moment Giles mentioned him. Giles & Jenny go online with some of her friends to perform the spell, the Circle of Kayliss (?) to put him back in the book. This does bring him out of cyberspace, but he is trapped in his robot body, rather than sent back to the Book. Willow breaks up with him & hits him with a fire extinguisher, then Buffy electrocutes him, & he blows up. Moloch takes control of 2 high school boys, Fritz & Dave, who are members of Jenny Calendar's computer class. Fritz tries to electrocute Buffy, then kills Dave, making it look like a suicide, after he saves her life. Moloch later kills Fritz by snapping his neck. |
