Tom's Rose Garden
Therese Bugnet
(Complex Canadian hybrid, 1950)
Loriann, my wife, bought me this rugosa while we were nursery hopping
on our South Carolina vacation. The fragrance of perfume mixed with cloves is addictive.
The bush is supposed to grow to be five feet wide by four feet tall. The loose,
semi-double pink blooms are very beautiful, and I'm looking forward to the fall and
winter interest that the colored leaves, hips, and canes will provide.
You can see a picture and read more about this rose at Cheryl
Netter's Rose Pages.
