Tom's Rose Garden
Sombreuil
(Robert, 1850)
I bought this climbing tea rose this summer from a local nursery. It had an Antique Rose Emporium tag on it. The only blooms I've gotten have been from the buds that were on the plant when I bought it. Since then it has concentrated on establishing its root system. Just recently I've seen some significant cane growth. It gets beautiful creamy, white flowers that have a strong tea fragrance. It can grow up to 10 feet once established.
You can see pictures and read more about this rose at Yesterday's Rose.
