Tom's Rose Garden
Rosa Seratipetulla
(?, ?)
I first saw this China in a rose book. It's very unique in that its petals are very serated, hence the name. I bought my bush, along with a Marchioness of Londonderry, from Antique Rose Emporium's Georgia nursery on a business trip in July '97. They flew back on the plane with me. It has already given me seven or eight blooms with a bunch more buds ready to open. Doesn't have a strong fragrance, but the uniqueness and beauty are what I bought it for.
