| AMENDMENT 1 - Freedom of religion, of the press, of speech, of assembly, right to petition the government. AMENDMENT 2 - Right to bear arms (carry weapons). AMENDMENT 3 - Prevents the government from housing troops in your homes. AMENDMENT 4 - Freedom from search and seizure without written permission. AMENDMENT 5 - Right to a fair trial, protection from speaking against yourself during a trial, right to due proces of the law. AMENDMENT 6 - Right to a speedy trial, right to have and hear witness. AMENDMENT 7 - Right to a trial by jury. AMENDMENT 8 - Protection from cruel and unusual punishments after beign found guilty of a crime. AMENDMENT 9 - All rights are protected by the Constitution. AMENDMENT 10 - Powers not given to the national government are given to the state governments. |
