Anthemis 'Susanna Mitchell' (Marguerite)
If you like Daisies - this is it! One of the longest blooming perennials you can grow! Creamy white 1 1/2" daisies with primrose-yellow centers bloom profusely up to 3-4 months, starting in early June. The silvery fern-like foliage is beautiful all by itself. Prefers full sun, well-drained soil and low fertility. Height & Spread: 20-24"; Hardiness Zone: 3-7 Also got very high marks in the Perennial evaluation trials at Michigan State University Horticultural Demonstration Gardens. On the picture below is a cousin, Anthemis tinctoria, Yomo another long blooming Golden Marguerite. Golden-yellow Daisies cover the green fern-like foliage from Mid June until September. Makes a nice compact mound, 14" high. Both varieties are deer resistant and slightly fragrant and combine well with any other sun loving perennials..
